At Yongsan Donkatsu Onjeong Gyeongyang Sikdang, Yongsan branch (용산돈까스온정경양식당 용산점), near Hyochang Park Station, I had Western-style Korean pork cutlet, cheddar cheese pork cutlet, and fish cake udon. I could compare the two cutlets, and the meal felt generous with soup and morning bread included.

It is on the first floor of the commercial building, and the large sign made it easy to find.

I was told that two hours of free parking are available on basement levels 2 and 3 of Building B. The hours posted during my visit were Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00–21:00, with a break time from 15:00–16:30.

## Are there seats for solo diners or family meals?

The interior felt cozy and relaxed. It was neatly arranged throughout and decorated with a warm atmosphere.

Most seats were regular tables for two to four people. Group dining is possible, and there are high chairs, so it seemed suitable for family meals or gatherings.

There were also bar-style seats for one along one side. They looked like a natural place to sit when dining alone.

## What can you order besides pork cutlets?

The menu centered on Western-style Korean pork cutlets. There were regular and spicy versions, and the cheddar cheese pork cutlet caught my eye, so I ordered it.

There were also noodle dishes such as udon and memil soba (buckwheat noodles). Set menus pairing pork cutlet with noodles gave me a few options.

## What comes with the pork cutlet?

The pork cutlet came with soup and morning bread. I liked being able to enjoy the full composition of a Western-style Korean meal.

The soup in particular was smooth and nutty, making it nice to have before the meal. I was told that more soup is available if requested.

## How did the regular and cheddar cheese pork cutlets differ?

The pork cutlets looked generously portioned from the moment I saw them. The restaurant says it uses domestic Korean pork and meat prepared that day.

True to Western-style Korean pork cutlet, there was plenty of sauce over the meat and breading. The crisp cutlet went well with the smooth sauce.

After trying both, I found the regular Western-style version to have a familiar, classic flavor. The cheddar version was softer, with a more pronounced cheese flavor.

## How was the fish cake udon?

I also ordered fish cake udon, and it had a generous amount of fish cake.

The noodles were chewy and springy. The broth was mild and warm, and I thought it would suit winter well.

## Can you get extra rice and side dishes?

The basic side dishes included kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) and danmuji (pickled yellow radish). I was told that rice and side dishes are available as unlimited refills with one order per person. The pork cutlet itself felt generously portioned, and having it with soup and morning bread made for a satisfying meal.
