## In short

Gwanganda Jjji Gwangalli Main Branch is a seafood and sashimi restaurant on the 6th floor of Sanbada Hoetown in Suyeong, Busan, with a view of Gwangan Bridge. On a weekday visit at 11:30am, parking was free right on the building's 1st floor, and the 55,000 won per person dachi set brought octopus tangtangi (chopped live octopus), raw shrimp sashimi, assorted sashimi, blue crab stew, braised and fried dishes, and abalone porridge to finish. For a generous sea-view seafood spread in Gwangalli without parking worries, Gwanganda Jjji is the answer.

Came all the way to Busan, so of course I had to eat sashimi again haha 🫢🫢 This time I wanted somewhere I could see Gwangan Bridge while also eating a hearty spread of seafood, not just plain sashimi. I looked it up ahead of time and booked through Naver — and the sea view turned out to be so good I left completely satisfied. This is Gwanganda Jjji Gwangalli Main Branch! If you want to eat sashimi and enjoy a proper sea view in Gwangalli, take note 💙💙

## Gwangalli parking: free on the building's 1st floor

Gwanganda Jjji 🐟🐟 sits on the 6th floor of the Sanbada Hoetown building with a Gwangalli view. I was worried about parking first, since Gwangalli tends to be a bit tricky for that. But parking was available right on the 1st floor of the building, which made things easier than expected. The 1st floor offers free parking, and the nearby Subyeon Park public parking lot is also usable, supporting 1 car per table for 2 hours.

I visited around 11:30am on a weekday and was able to park directly on the 1st floor. Being a weekday daytime, things were nice and relaxed ☺️

## What is a dachi set? The Tongyeong-style seafood spread explained

Gwanganda Jjji brings Tongyeong's dachi style to Gwangalli. Dachi is easiest to think of as a full table spread of various seafood and dishes served together. So it's not just sashimi — it's for anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of seafood and ssuki (small side dishes) all at once. Good good 💙💙

## Gwangan Bridge sea-view tables and private rooms

The first thing that caught my eye walking into the hall was the Gwangan Bridge sea view 💙💙 Wow! It genuinely felt like a breath of fresh air. I guess Gwangalli really is meant to be eaten with this kind of view 🫢🫢 I arrived a bit earlier than my reservation time and got seated at one of the good-view tables — just sitting there felt like a proper trip ☺️

I imagine this place would be absolutely incredible during the Gwangalli Fireworks Festival ✨✨ A real view-spot worth keeping in mind if you want to eat sashimi while looking at the sea in Gwangalli.

There are also rooms available, which seemed great for anyone wanting a more private meal. It also looked like a good fit for family gatherings, friend meetups, or work dinners with several people.

Gwanganda Jjji keeps things simple with just one menu, the dachi set. Dachi set ₩55,000 per person (a wide spread from ssuki and seafood to assorted sashimi, crab stew, braised dishes, fried dishes, and abalone porridge). * Dining time is 2 hours, and from 7pm you can stay until closing.

## Starters and seafood: octopus tangtangi and raw shrimp sashimi

A little while later, the dishes started arriving one by one. The table felt full from the very start, hearty just to look at 🫢🫢

What caught my eye first was the range of ssuki and seafood. Abalone, grilled scallops with cheese, cream shrimp, raw shrimp sashimi, octopus tangtangi (chopped live octopus) — such a wide variety 🫢🫢 The octopus tangtangi was still wriggling the moment it arrived, and the raw shrimp sashimi kept moving too, which startled me for a second 👍👍

Freshness really matters for seafood like this, and eating it right away, I could definitely tell it was fresh. At other places I've seen the ssuki plated ahead of time and looking a little dried out, but here everything felt fresh overall, so even the ssuki alone was satisfying. Most of all, with so many kinds, my chopsticks never got a rest 🤤🤤

## The main assorted sashimi: thickness and texture

And finally, today's main event, the assorted sashimi 💙💙 The plating alone made me happy before I even took a bite. The thickness of the sashimi was exactly to my taste too — not too thin, just thick enough that the texture was great when I chewed, chewy and bursting with freshness.

When I'm looking for a Gwangalli seafood restaurant, I tend to care a lot about the sashimi's freshness and texture, and the sashimi that day was very satisfying 💙💙

## Blue crab stew, braised and fried dishes round out the table

Crab stew 🦀🦀 Fall crab is in season right now, so I'd been craving crab stew, and I was glad it showed up right on cue. One spoonful of the hot, clean broth and my stomach instantly felt better!

With the braised dishes and fried dishes on top of everything else, it really felt like a full, proper spread.

## Finishing with abalone porridge at Gwanganda Jjji

Last up, the surprise standout: abalone porridge 🤎🤎 I usually avoid abalone porridge, worried it might taste a bit fishy, but what is this?! It was so much nuttier and more delicious than expected, beyond what I'd hoped for. I loved the soft texture unique to abalone porridge, and it was a perfect way to wrap up after eating plenty of sashimi and seafood.

> Gwangan Bridge view, fresh sashimi, seafood and crab stew, all in one hearty spread! A proper dachi set experience in Busan's Gwangalli — this place earns its reputation as a real gem 👍💙💙
