Hi, this is Janggun-mom. I was craving good meat in a nice atmosphere for once, so I went looking for a Korean BBQ place near Seokchon Lake. When you say "BBQ restaurant," you tend to picture somewhere loud with tables packed tight, but this place turned out to be clean and had a private space too — good for a date, but also solid for a company dinner.

This is Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It's an easy walk from both Jamsil Station and Songpanaru Station, and close to Seokchon Lake, so it's a nice spot for a stroll before or after eating. The meat was good, but honestly what really stood out was the staff grilling everything for us — let me walk you through it.

Walking in, the whole place felt clean and a bit upscale. There's a private room in the basement in particular, somewhat separated from the other tables, which seemed great for a group dinner or gathering. It's a BBQ place, but the interior is tidy and pleasant, so the whole meal felt comfortable.
