Working full-time while raising twins, it's honestly really hard to find time for myself. The hair salon was always the thing I kept putting off, but this time I finally made myself go to Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch!

I checked the Naver listing and saw same-day booking was possible, so I thought, I'm going today, haha. With childcare, planning ahead and finding time is never easy, so being able to book same-day was a huge plus for me! (Of course, if you have a specific time or designer in mind, booking ahead is still better!!)

## How to get there from Sangwangsimni Station or Sindang Station

True to its name, Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch is a Sangwangsimni hair salon close to Sangwangsimni Station — and it's close to Sindang Station too! Since both stations are near my home, getting there was no trouble at all.

That said, the Centras commercial complex itself is huge, so you might get a little lost inside at first. But there are maps posted in several spots, so finding your way isn't hard :)

## The beauty consultation before the perm

Before the service, I filled out a consultation sheet, and they carefully checked my hair concerns, the look I wanted, and how easy it would be to maintain.

When I mentioned I'd basically neglected my hair because of work and childcare, my designer, Youngjun, recommended a style that would be much easier to manage. Rather than a setting perm — which only looks good if you blow-dry it in a specific way — he suggested a layered cut followed by a wave perm, where the curl holds up even if you only dry the roots :)

## From setting perm to layered cut and wave perm: how it went

I'd originally booked a setting perm, but after the consultation I switched direction to a layered cut followed by a wave perm!

Sitting here — this isn't drying my hair, it's heat processing, haha. Even during the heat processing, he kept checking in to make sure it wasn't too hot and that I was comfortable!

The massage chair in the shampoo room partway through was honestly touching. I didn't know a shampoo could feel this relaxing, haha.

## Drinks and snacks during the service

During the service they brought out drinks and snacks too. There was a good variety of coffee, tea, and juice, so I could pick whatever I liked.

The friendly, attentive style consultation was to be expected!

The hair product displays were tidy, and they were friendly about explaining payment and membership options too :) The price list is organized by style, so it's worth checking before your visit. *The first-visit event price is much cheaper, so it's worth taking advantage of it.*

## Verdict: a low-maintenance wave perm at Oreudeubi

The finished wave perm is the kind of style where the curl settles naturally once you calmly let it dry, so in photos it might look like there's less curl than expected — but for me, wanting a natural look, it was exactly right.

Thanks to the layered cut, the whole style feels much more natural, and the wave perm suited me well too :) He kindly walked me through how to style it at home, so keeping it up shouldn't be hard. I'm really, really happy he recommended such a low-maintenance style :) If you're looking for a Sindang Station hair salon — or a Sangwangsimni hair salon — that's great at layered cuts and wave perms, Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch is worth a visit!
