The writer came with her mother and ordered half a Peking duck (39,000 won) and kkanpung shrimp (18,000 won): the duck skin was rendered lean and clean-tasting, and the shrimp stayed crisp, with neither dish heavily seasoned. That's Mirim Yangjang Apgujeong (미림양장)! Here's my review 😉 ## Mirim Yangjang Apgujeong: location, hours and parking Mirim Yangjang Apgujeong is on the basement floor at 40 Eonju-ro 168-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Come out of exit 5, walk straight for 200m, turn left at Ivsazy, then walk another 350m and you're there! My mom, who came with me, admired the mood too, haha 😁 Seating ranges from tables for two up to large groups. The salty peanuts you can't skip at a Chinese restaurant! And that's a sweet-and-sour beansprout and beet pickle. That thing was a game changer!! The signature dish is definitely the Peking duck, and the hot pot seems to be popular too! There's also guo bao rou, eoyang eggplant, fried eggplant, kkanpung shrimp, jjamppong soup, mala soup and other Chinese dishes. Peking duck needs at least 12 to 24 hours of drying time, and the ones on the right looked like they were drying. It seemed like they roast them in that huge cauldron-like thing over there! Here's how you do it~! As for the taste — while typical kkanpung shrimp tends to be a bit chewy, this version keeps the crispiness alive, with a very thin layer of sauce that maximizes the crunch. It's so good!!!
