Hi guys hahaha! Today, wanting a fresh change and a tone-down for fall, I went looking for a salon and heard there was a fancy one in Doan-dong, Sangdae-dong, Daejeon... so I checked it out 🖤

Let me just throw the result at you first!!! 😎✨ I was so, so satisfied... This is Project Lure, a hair salon in Doan-dong, Daejeon!

## Where is Project Lure in Daejeon, and what are the hours?

Project Lure is a hair salon located at 34 World Cup-daero 316beon-gil, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, near Sangdae-dong and Doan-dong. Hours are Mon–Sat 10:30–20:00 and Sun 10:30–19:00, closed for Chuseok holiday on Sep 24–25. Please check the booking page for each designer's individual days off!

The exterior had a clean white sign with black lettering reading 'loor' — it stands for Linger, Oscillate, Originate, Resonate! :) They said it's a place built on formative freedom and sensory restraint, going beyond just styling looks and crossing the line between technique and art hahaha ✨

## What does Project Lure look like inside?

The entrance to Project Lure honestly looked a little narrow, but once you step inside it's huge!!!!! And on top of that, the interior is the fanciest thing Daejeon has ever seen 🫢🫢 A place with both trendiness and luxury all in one, haha.

## Color chart consultation and hair condition before the dye

At Project Lure, the first thing we did was sit at the big table in the middle and go over a color chart to discuss what shade I wanted! They very kindly consulted with me, comparing it against my current hair color ❤️

I have pretty severe curl and I do tone-down color often, but it fades fast too, so my hair was already a very red-toned brown at this point! Please remember this 'before' well... because the transformation coming up is a total glow-up 🎶

## How the level-8 khaki and olive full color was applied

Designer Dowon and the director applied the color together, one on each side. My hair has a ton of volume and pretty severe damage so it must have been tough, but they applied it so carefully..>< I also appreciated that they were careful not to get any on my face 👍

To get rid of the yellow and red tones, I chose a color mixed with khaki and olive, at level 8! The dye color looked like matcha lol.

They also brought me an iced americano, a brownie, cookies, and chocolate — and the iced americano was exactly my taste, hehe. Thank you so much ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

## Massage shampoo bed and aromatherapy shampoo at Project Lure

And finally, the shampoo time I'd been waiting for~~~~! Wait, they sprayed something on my hair, and when I asked, they kindly explained it was to pour on pH balancer, since the dye is highly alkaline, to stabilize the hair haha.

But wait, here's another amazing thing... I was about to sit down to get my hair washed, and suddenly they told me to lie down...? There's a massage shampoo chair right there!!!!! Getting a full-body massage while getting an aromatherapy treatment for my hair... Usually at other salons my neck bends awkwardly during shampooing and it hurts a bit, but here, lying back in the massage chair, I nearly fell asleep lolololol. Genuinely the most surprising part 👍

Even the blow-dry was done so carefully and beautifully ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Satisfied, satisfied, so satisfied ✨✨✨

## The result: an autumn tone-down olive brown

The khaki-olive level 8 color from Project Lure looks a bit darker indoors, but under natural sunlight it has this soft olive glow that's so chic and pretty..>< Highly, highly recommend it as a 2026 fall tone-down color 👍👍
