This isn’t a pocha (casual Korean drinking spot) where you just eat and drink: tables can play games against one another, and you can exchange coins for snacks or ice cream, so we really had a full night of fun. Eulji Pocha had plenty of delicious dishes to match its atmosphere, too. A huge pan was loaded with black-bean sauce, noodles, and seafood, then topped generously with Cheongyang chili peppers. Once mixed, the rich sauce coated every noodle, and true to its name, this jjoljjajang had a definite spicy kick that went well with drinks. I recommend it for a lively day out with friends, or as a Gudi bar for a work dinner with a bigger group.
