The basic set comes with the rice bowl, miso-style soup, side salad, and even an egg yolk to mix in — really thoughtfully put together. Over the bean sprouts sit the beef belly and smoky-charred kkwarigochu (shishito-style green peppers). The beef belly sauce was so good that scooping up the fragrant charred peppers, the chewy savory beef, and the fluffy white rice together felt like heaven. My friend demolished it in record time. It earns that reaction — the woo-samgyeop deopbap was really, truly delicious, a special kind of good.
