I ordered the tenderloin and cheese katsu set plus the mince curry rice set, which brought one tenderloin katsu, one cheese katsu and mince curry to the table, with kimchi and pickled radish free to take from the self-serve bar. The definition of tonkatsu! Such a clean dining room and kitchen! A go-to for tonkatsu alongside its best friends udon, buckwheat noodles, and mince curry. This time I didn't want to settle for just one dish, so I ordered both the tenderloin+cheese katsu set and the mince curry rice set to try a variety. Omi Katsu has a clean, comfortable atmosphere that's great for eating in. I noticed quite a few people eating alone, too. The batter was crispy and the meat inside was moist, so it went well dipped in sauce.
