## In short

Bombay Broy Pangyo is an Indian restaurant near Pangyo Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, where an Indian chef cooks every dish. The A course brought a welcome salad, tandoori chicken (chicken tikka), a main curry and garlic naan, paired with a mango lassi and a strawberry lassi, and the naan arrived already cut so you never get sauce on your hands. Two adults left completely full, so Bombay Broy Pangyo is a definite return visit.

Hey everyone! Do you like trying out exotic world cuisines from time to time? I was getting bored with the usual dining options and looking for something with a special atmosphere and flavor, when I ended up visiting Bombay Broy Pangyo, a place that's been getting a lot of buzz as one of the best Indian restaurants in Pangyo. Even before visiting, a lot of reviews mentioned that an Indian chef actually cooks here, which apparently puts it on a whole different level from other curry places, so my expectations were pretty high. So let me walk you through my honest experience — the atmosphere, the taste, the service, all of it was satisfying!

## Where is Bombay Broy Pangyo, and where do you park?

Bombay Broy Pangyo is located at 25 Pangyoyeok-ro 2beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily from 11am to 10pm, so it's easy to visit whether you're after lunch or dinner. If you're worried about parking when driving, there's space for about 2 to 3 cars right in front of the restaurant. Even if that fills up, there's a paid parking tower right next door, so I could visit without any parking stress at all.

## What is the restaurant like inside?

The moment I opened the door, it felt like stepping into a completely different, exotic world. Every single interior piece gave off that authentic Indian vibe. One whole wall is a floor-to-ceiling window that lets natural light pour in, and there's a long, spacious wood table set up — perfect for a cozy Pangyo date, a work dinner, or a family gathering. The kitchen is also semi-open, so I could see firsthand how cleanly it's kept, and the owner greeted us so warmly that the meal got off to a great start.

## Ordering the A course with mango and strawberry lassi

After looking carefully through the menu, we ordered the A course, which is great value and lets you try a variety of Indian dishes at once. And of course, we didn't forget the drinks that always go with Indian food — mango lassi and strawberry lassi.

The mango lassi and strawberry lassi were the first things served after ordering! Lassi is a traditional Indian yogurt drink, and the lassi at Bombay Broy Pangyo stood out in both thickness and flavor. One sip of the mango lassi and the rich, sweet fragrance of mango spread through my mouth like honey. It wasn't an artificial syrupy sweetness — the natural sweetness of the fruit and the tanginess of the yogurt hit a perfect balance. The strawberry lassi was just as refreshing, with a bright tartness that was perfect for cleansing the palate between bites.

### Welcome salad and tandoori chicken (chicken tikka)

Next came the welcome salad that kicks off the A course. True to a popular restaurant, the vegetables were very fresh and did a great job whetting the appetite as an appetizer. Then came the glossy tandoori chicken (chicken tikka), and the spices weren't overpowering or harsh at all, so it was easy for anyone to enjoy. It kept the authentic local flavor while still being tuned to Korean tastes with great savory depth.

## Main curry and garlic naan served pre-cut

Finally, the main dishes — a rich curry and naan — filled the table! Tasting the curry with a spoon, the spices came through intensely, but the aftertaste wasn't heavy at all — it was clean and addictive. If you don't like cilantro, you can ask to have it left out when ordering, and you'll enjoy it even more to your taste.

The garlic naan we had alongside had a savory garlic butter aroma that hit you right away, and its chewy texture was outstanding — dipping it deep into the rich curry made for an amazing combination that had me sighing in satisfaction. What was especially impressive was that the naan came pre-cut into pieces just the right size for tearing and eating. Thanks to that, I could focus on the meal cleanly without getting sauce all over my hands.

## Is it enough food for two? Final verdict on Bombay Broy Pangyo

Overall, the portions were enormous — plenty to fill up two adults. The amount of food for the price was so generous that my dining companion and I ate until we were stuffed and completely satisfied. They also apparently sell great-value weekday lunch menus, so next time I want to visit on a weekday and try something new.

An exotic atmosphere, a spacious and comfortable space, and curry quality tuned perfectly to Korean tastes! If you're looking for a romantic Pangyo date spot or a hearty lunch place, I'd 100% strongly recommend Bombay Broy Pangyo, one of the best Indian restaurants in Pangyo. It's a place worth raving about even with your spouse or kids in tow, so I'm definitely planning to go back!
