The size is small, but the portion is huge! I wondered what "black vinegar" meant — it's a sauce made from Chinese black vinegar that gives a deeper, richer flavor. Ahh, so that's why it's called black vinegar! Unlike regular tangsuyuk, the meat is thick and made with glutinous rice flour, so it's super crispy, and the sauce has a much sharper, more delicious tang. It was even better for the price, packed generously with pork belly and various vegetables. Stir-fried quickly over high heat, it had an excellent, subtly spreading smoky flavor!! It kept the rich, distinctive taste of ganjajang while feeling lighter and cleaner thanks to all the vegetables. Best of all, they topped it with a poached egg — bursting it and mixing it in added a soft, rich texture that made it even more delicious. The combination of ganjajang and poached egg works better than you'd expect. The thinly sliced woo-samgyeop beef soaked into the jjamppong, doubling the flavor, and the broth was so rich! I didn't expect it to work, but it was way more delicious than I thought. Wrapping the meat with the noodles was seriously good, haha.
