Back when I was dating, I used to eat everything without caring much what kind of food it was, but once I had my baby and she started eating like a real little person, Korean set-course meals became the best option for us haha. So once again I went to a solid Korean restaurant in Songjeong. The name is Songjeongok — let's start with the location! ## Songjeongok's location, parking and hours - 📍 Address: 54-1 Songjeong Gwanggeogol-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, 1st & 2nd floor - ✔️ Hours: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM - Break time: weekdays 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM / apparently no break on Saturdays and Sundays - 🅿️ Parking: spaces in front of the restaurant, plus lots of street parking around Songjeong! It's full of that modern-meets-traditional Korean set-meal feeling. And on top of that it felt clean and tidy! First, this set with bossam (boiled pork wraps) as the star. And the rice came as pot rice too, you know? Abalone pot rice, no less.. Honestly the abalone pot rice alone would've covered both healthy and filling, but then there's bossam on top..! Haha. If you scrape it all out into a bowl and pour the seafood broth over it, you get seafood-broth scorched rice too....!! With that many side dishes, you'd think the rice wouldn't be enough, but since it's one pot per person, we never ran out haha. Nope~~ There was still the hinoki (Japanese cypress) steam dish left haha. Abalone, shrimp, fish cake, corn, potatoes and more — total chaos. Our baby ate a ton of the bossam and the stuff in this hinoki steam dish haha. ## Why it was great to visit with a baby I went looking for a solid Korean restaurant in Songjeong, Busan and found Songjeongok. Honestly, the ₩23,000 per person price here felt unbelievable. Running a business at these prices in today's economy...... may you thrive — may you succeed — may you become the go-to restaurant!!! It's a place I remember even more fondly because the staff were so kind, and since our baby ate so well there, I think we'll definitely be back.
