## In short

Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch is a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of a standalone building on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae-gu, Busan. Craving a spicy noodle soup, the writer ordered seafood jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and black vinegar pork with sirloin at 28,000 won, and found the roughly 50-pyeong (165 sqm) hall furnished with European pieces like a high-end furniture showroom. With its own private parking and baby chairs, Bueokgan Chinese handles family meals and group gatherings with ease.

## Where is Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch?

Bueokgan Chinese is a Chinese restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae-gu, Busan. Hours are 11:00–21:00, with a break time from 15:00 to 16:30 and last order at 20:30. Here's my review of Bueokgan Chinese, a fancy-feeling Chinese spot on Dalmaji-gil~

I was craving spicy jjamppong, so I headed to Bueokgan Chinese, said to be a Haeundae Chinese restaurant worth trying.

Bueokgan Chinese has its own private parking, which made parking really convenient.

The standalone Bueokgan building has an underground parking lot, Café de Bueokgan (café), Bueokgan Chinese (Chinese restaurant), and Bueokgan (European restaurant). I went into the 1st floor where the Haeundae Chinese restaurant Bueokgan Chinese is.

It felt upscale from the very entrance.

## Inside the 50-pyeong hall: European furniture, seating and baby chairs

The hall at Bueokgan Chinese is about 50 pyeong (165 sqm), so it felt spacious and relaxed. Once inside, staff greeted us cheerfully, and baby chairs were available.

Thanks to the quiet music and European-style interior, I could feel a refined, calm atmosphere.

With so much European furniture, it felt less like a Chinese restaurant and more like walking into a high-end furniture shop.

There was a good variety of tables and seats, so it seemed great not just for friends, couples, or families, but for group gatherings too.

There were coat hooks available. An origin-labeling board let us check where the ingredients came from. There were separate restrooms for men and women.

We sat at a table with a nice view of the greenery.

Every table had Solomon's seal tea, spoons and chopsticks, napkins, and a mini tablet.

## What's on the menu at Bueokgan Chinese?

The Bueokgan Chinese menu had a lot of unique and creative dishes — poached egg pork belly jjajang, mala cilantro jjamppong, poached egg octopus Chinese-style rice bowl, jalapeño cream shrimp, black vinegar pork with sirloin, whole-garlic yurinchi, and more.

Being able to see photos and descriptions of each dish really helped with choosing what to order.

We ordered seafood jjamppong and black vinegar pork with sirloin.

![Pickled radish and jajang-style pickled cucumber side dishes](https://img.superchart.com/images/buukgan-chinese-haeundae-seafood-jjamppong/buukgan-chinese-haeundae-seafood-jjamppong-18-1uuau-900.webp)

They first brought pickled radish, jajangmyeon-style pickled cucumber, small plates, and water glasses.

## How was the seafood jjamppong?

The seafood jjamppong from Bueokgan Chinese was loaded with mussels, shrimp, octopus, onion, cabbage, and noodles. The dish looked hearty and clean.

With so much seafood packed in, the broth had a refreshing, savory depth. It was spicy yet clean-tasting — really good. The noodles were plump and soft, with great texture, and they soaked up the broth's flavor deeply, which made them even tastier.

## Black vinegar pork with sirloin, 28,000 won

The black vinegar pork with sirloin was ₩28,000, generously topped with black vinegar sauce, onion, wood ear mushrooms, and fried sirloin.

Bueokgan Chinese reportedly makes its black vinegar pork sauce using black vinegar imported directly from China. The sauce wasn't just sweet — it had a tangy-sweet balance with real depth of flavor, which made it delicious.

The fried sirloin was crispy on the outside and chewy and moist inside. The meat was thick-cut, so it tasted rich and savory.

Between the upscale atmosphere, the distinctive and delicious food, and the friendly service, it was a happy time overall. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant in Haeundae, I definitely recommend giving Bueokgan Chinese a try~
