I had plans near Ikseon-dong in Jongno today. I got there earlier than the time I was supposed to meet my friend, so I was walking around looking at things when I spotted a bakery that looked familiar. I knew the name and that it was somewhere in Jongno, but I didn't know exactly where it was. This is Munhwa Bakery, the Ikseon-dong bread spot I'd been telling myself I had to visit since it's famous for its bread.

Munhwa Bakery is a really tiny shop. There's a sign at the entrance that says 'Interior is small, please enter in groups of 2.' When I arrived, there were already people inside for about 3 minutes, so I figured I'd have to wait.

Standing in line, I noticed the coffee bread and garlic bread seemed to be the most popular. And once I actually got inside to buy, I wanted to try everything. Everything looked delicious and the shop was full of a savory, nutty smell.
