## In short

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot bath and massage café on the second floor at the main intersection of Jeonju Hanok Village. The basic course is 15,000 won and covers a 30-minute aroma foot bath, a shoulder massage and one drink; the herbs came from a lavender and peppermint pick, and a mini fan at every seat kept the room cool even in September. For travelers walking 18,000 steps a day, Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang makes a well-timed mid-trip rest stop.

## What is Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang?

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot bath and massage café on the 2nd floor at 61 Eunhaeng-ro in Jeonju Hanok Village. Hours are Tue-Thu 11:00-22:00 and Fri-Mon 10:30-22:00.

After a hard day of traveling, you really need some foot bath healing…

How do you recover from fatigue while traveling? When I travel domestically I usually walk 15,000-20,000 steps, and up to 25,000 abroad, so by the time I get to my accommodation at night I barely manage a foot-rest session to soothe my aching feet. This café is on the 2nd floor, so you can see the hanok village view while soaking your feet and melting away the fatigue — a two-in-one spot in Jeonju Hanok Village that I want to introduce.

### Where it is in Jeonju Hanok Village and how to find the entrance

The location is super easy to find. It's on the 2nd floor right at the main intersection of the hanok village! Being near the center of Jeonju Hanok Village made it easy to plan my route around. It's the perfect spot to visit right when your legs start aching from wandering the alleys.

Once inside, seats were lined up in a row by the window, and the full-length glass let us enjoy a view of the traditional hanok tiled roofs of Jeonju Hanok Village. With no high-rises blocking it, the open view was just right. As soon as we entered, we took off our shoes and socks to get ready.

I didn't personally use it, but there's a changing room available if needed, and lockers to store your belongings — except your phone.

## How much the basic course costs and what it includes

The basic course is ₩15,000. It includes a 30-minute aroma foot bath, shoulder massage, and one drink.

![Menu board showing the ₩15,000 basic course and drink options](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-06-ctkpf-966.webp)

You can choose your drink from Americano, iced tea (peach or lemon), persimmon leaf mint tea, ramie leaf tea, or burdock tea.

## What the 30-minute aroma foot bath was actually like

![Foot bath machine and mini fan at a separate side seat](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-07-t6run-1200.webp)

We were assigned a fairly separate seat on the side. As soon as we sat down, I thought, this place's attention to detail is insane. It was September, so the shade was cool, but we'd still been walking around a lot and were pretty warm — the inside had the AC blasting, and every seat had its own mini fan running at full blast. This place… really knows how to run a business, haha.

![Hand massager and shoulder massager set up](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-08-2qvvt-966.webp)

After sitting down, we picked up the hand massager and shoulder massager and listened to the instructions.

### Choosing lavender and peppermint herbs

While the foot bath filled with warm water, you get to choose the herb to add. There are three options — lavender, rose, and peppermint — and we each picked lavender and peppermint.

![Lavender herbs being added to the foot bath](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-11-12fhq-966.webp)

![Feet soaking in the herb-scented foot bath](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-13-1oja0-966.webp)

We put the scent we picked based on our mood into the foot bath, sat in the comfy, cool chairs, and the foot bath began…! The moment I dipped my feet into the warm herb-infused water, I felt all the tension melt out of my whole body. My partner in particular had been unimpressed, saying "why a foot bath on a trip?" — but the second their feet hit the water, their eyes slowly closed and they were enjoying it more than anyone, haha.

The fan was cool, the feet were warm, and with a generous 30 minutes it felt like plenty of time. While soaking, the shoulder massager can also work on your shoulders and lower back!

![Iced americano and iced tea included in the basic course](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang/jeonju-hanok-village-foot-bath-cafe-jeonmang-16-1hi2p-966.webp)

We ordered an iced americano and an iced tea and sipped away.

It was interesting how the foot bath kept releasing water while the massager rolled around inside — satisfying in many ways. They said if you want your own, you can buy one at a discount too.

### The foot cream finish after the soak

Once the foot bath is done, you apply a signature foot cream for extra moisture. Goun Bal Cream is pretty famous, right? (I even have it at home…) Rubbing in a generous amount like a massage left my feet smooth and my fatigue felt like it melted away.

## Is Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang worth a stop?

Eating good food and sightseeing is great, but I'd recommend stopping by a foot bath café for some healing time once your energy is running low. Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang, with its wide-open view, is a really good spot to rest and enjoy some leisure time once in a while👍
