The crab at Deulbabae was packed with meat, never fishy and not too salty alongside rice; only the japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) arriving lukewarm was a letdown.

For our overnight trip we headed to Resom in Jecheon! We'd just finished the spa and — lucky timing — I had a discount coupon on my membership app, so we went and had a really tasty soy crab set. Yum!

The break time ended at 5pm, so we timed our arrival right after finishing the spa~~

There's also basic banchan (side dishes), so just help yourself comfortably 🤤

So that's the lineup — we went back and forth between the soy crab set and the bori gulbi set, and landed on the soy crab~~!

## Every side dish on the Deulbabae spread

After a short wait, the full spread arrived — ta-da! I shot it in 16:9 to fit it all in. It was so generous ~~~ seriously a table-groaning hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) spread 🥺 Let's look at the banchan one by one.

Braised kodari (dried pollock) as a basic banchan?! 🥺 It was sweet and spicy and so good. I overheard the next table talking too — "Mmm, the kodari's good!" haha. Guess everyone's taste buds agree (?)

There's japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) / fried sweet pumpkin / fried mushrooms / mu-saengchae (spicy radish salad) / some pickle I couldn't name. Personally the fried sweet pumpkin and that pickle in the bottom right were amazing 🥺 The japchae wasn't warm though, which nearly made me cry ㅜ The flavor itself was good... but still.

There's also deodeok-muchim (seasoned deodeok root), braised lotus root, braised potatoes, and kimchi jeon (kimchi pancake) — all four of these were amazing 🥺 I even got a refill of the braised potatoes ^^

There's also cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew), but for my taste it was a bit sour(?) — not really my style.

They also serve sotbap (pot rice) 🤤

## How was the soy-marinated crab, Deulbabae's main dish?

Ah, let's take a look at the main dish — the soy crab. I ate it so happily 🤤

Packed with meat and not fishy at all 🥰 The soy sauce itself wasn't very salty either, so slurping it down with rice was absolutely delicious ~~

We finished off with sungnyung (scorched rice tea) — though with that much rice left in it, calling it "tea" might be a stretch ^^
