Even if I try my best to care for my hair at home, there is definitely a difference compared with a professional salon treatment. I get root straightening every three months, so even when my hair looks reasonably tidy on the outside, the ends gradually get dry and it often feels as though the inside of each strand is hollow.

## A clean, comfortable salon space

Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo is on the third floor of the building, and from the entrance onward it felt clean and upscale.

Inside, large windows let in the light, so it did not feel closed-in; the salon was spacious and comfortable overall. Perhaps because it is an Apgujeong Rodeo salon, the space itself felt polished, and the long central table and plant décor made it feel more like an atmospheric salon than an ordinary hair shop.

The treatment chairs were not crowded together, and the shampoo room and treatment areas were neatly kept, so I felt little discomfort despite being there for a while. The staff were kind overall, too.

They promptly brought welcome tea and a snack, and kept checking whether I was comfortable throughout the treatment, so even as a first-time visitor I did not feel awkward.

The person who looked after my hair that day was Associate Director Baekha. Honestly, I was a little surprised when I first saw her. Oh? Is she an idol? She was so pretty, like a celebrity, haha.

But she was not just pretty—she welcomed me so kindly that I felt good from the first impression. Associate Director Baekha also shampooed my hair herself at the start, and her touch was seriously so good, haha.

You know how, when the hands shampooing your hair at a salon feel relaxing, your satisfaction with the whole appointment suddenly rises? My scalp felt refreshingly loosened up, so the clinic began on a great note even before the main treatment.
