And that makjang (fermented soybean paste) stew that comes free with the meal, seriously, that stew is legendary... I ordered one bowl of rice but after tasting the stew I ordered another. It's basically enough for two, the price is cheap, there's plenty of yeolmu (young radish greens) kimchi in it, and above all it tastes amazing... They also added potatoes and mushrooms, explaining everything kindly. First, they explained that if you put the grilling cheese directly on the pan it'll stick, so you should grill it on top of the potatoes instead. And then the premium hanwoo — er, Boseong Nokdon pork neck and pork belly! The meat was really thick and clearly high quality, can you tell from the photo too, haha. You grill the meat yourself rather than having staff grill it for you! I wondered if it might be a bit little for two people, but since the meat was fresh and thick, we actually had leftovers, haha. The price is affordable, the meat is delicious, and above all the owner was so kind — I get why the place is packed. It looked great for group dinners and for family gatherings too. I think I'll be back often.
