My husband and I went to Pangyo and wanted a lunch that felt a little different from our usual, so we stopped by Bombay Broy Pangyo.

Maybe because the owner and staff are actually from India, the moment we walked in it felt like we'd stepped into India itself.

That day we ordered Lunch Set B for two and each picked a different curry — I went with butter chicken, my husband chose chicken tikka masala.

Tandoori chicken, naan, and rice came along with it too, so it was a pretty filling lunch for two.

It was my first time trying naan (Indian flatbread) — the chewy texture was great, and not only was it good dipped in curry, mixing the curry into the rice was seriously delicious too.

We parked at the Baekhyeon-dong café street public parking lot that day. Once we got out, the restaurant was right in the next building over, which was really convenient.

The parking lot and restaurant were close enough that we didn't have to walk far after leaving the car.

Finding parking for a lunch appointment in Pangyo can be a bit of a hassle, so having it this close made things easy.

The vibe at Bombay Broy Pangyo was a bit different from a typical restaurant.

With Indian-style decor and props, plus an owner and staff who are actually from India, it felt even more authentic.

Even though we'd just come for a quick lunch, it genuinely felt like walking into a local restaurant while traveling in India.

Since two people can each pick a different curry, it was great being able to compare two flavors instead of just having one.

## How did the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala taste?

The butter chicken I picked had a really smooth sauce.

It spread softly in the mouth and paired really well with the naan.

My husband's chicken tikka masala was also delicious.

Even both being curries, the flavors were quite different, so ordering the two together and sharing worked out well.

This was my first time ever eating naan.

It was chewier than I expected, and dipping it in curry was really delicious.

Dipping the naan lightly into the curry and eating it with the sauce, the soft curry and chewy naan went really well together.

It was my first time trying it, and now I want to order naan again the next time I go for Indian food.

### What happens when you mix the curry into the rice?

It wasn't just naan — I also tried the curry with the rice.

Dipping naan in curry versus mixing curry into rice gave a totally different feel.

I especially loved mixing the curry into the rice.

The smooth curry sauce blended so well with the rice that I kept going back for more.

Rather than picking just naan or just rice, I'd recommend trying both.

The authentic Indian atmosphere in particular makes this a good pick when you want a slightly special lunch in Pangyo.
