I had something to do with mom anyway, so I met up to treat her to eel, haha. While searching for an eel restaurant near Jungang Station and Ansan City Hall, I found Songnim Bok Jangeo, an already-famous freshwater eel chain! Turns out it's everywhere. All-you-can-eat places usually pack tables in close together to fit more people, but not here. There's eel soup on the menu too, which I probably would've ordered with more people — apparently they simmer everything from the eel down and blend it in, making it extra rich. If anyone's had it, let me know how it was — eel soup is love. Anyway, let's eat eel until we're full! The all-you-can-eat time limit is 2 hours. Everything was kept spotlessly clean. Staff checked in regularly so nothing was spilled around us — very tidy. Apparently you can also cook eggs here — where are you, eggs?!
