I upsized the gukbap from the original set menu, and instead of sundaeguk, I ordered pork bone soup. I usually like plenty of broth and meat when eating gukbap, so I upsized it, and the portion was definitely hearty. Since it's a set, pyeonyuk and chapssal sundae come together, so I liked that I could try a variety of things rather than just eating one bowl of soup. And when I visited, the grand-opening event was also running. So I got a free chapssal sundae! The pork bone soup I ordered had a milky white broth loaded with pork, making it a filling meal. Especially since I ordered the size-up option from the set menu, the generous portion meant anyone who loves gukbap would be satisfied. The broth wasn't overwhelmingly intense and had a clean taste that was great for mixing with rice, and the pork paired well with the broth's mild flavor. In particular, the generous parking space out front made it convenient to visit by car, and with the set menu plus the grand-opening event, I left having eaten quite well.
