# Things to do in Nowon, Seoul: a 5-hour weekend at Jump fun park

Today I took the kids to Jump, a huge new indoor kids' café and play zone that just opened in Hagye-dong, Nowon.

## Where is Jump in Nowon? Parking and opening hours

Jump is a massive indoor theme park at 102 Hangeulbiseok-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul, South Korea, a 5-minute walk from Hagye Station Exit 3. Hours are Tue–Sun 10:00–18:00, closed every Monday, and parking is available.

There's a small lot in front of the building — it looked a bit tight. I visited around 11am on a weekend and there were still a few spots left, haha. If it fills up, there's a paid public lot nearby, but if parking worries you, I'd recommend public transit.

## Kids Ground and Jump Activity: which pass do you need?

Jump is basically split into two play areas! There's the Kids Ground for under-120cm or preschool kids, and...

...past the fountain on the left is the Jump Activity zone. Within Jump Activity, there are Adventure Passes and Play Passes depending on scope. There's currently a 30% preview discount, so check the price chart above!

- Adventure Pass: access to all Jump Activity activities including Sky Trail and Clip 'n Climb (height 120cm+)
- Play Pass: access to activities excluding Sky Trail and Clip 'n Climb (height 100cm+)
- Guardian requirement: required through 1st grade; required for preschoolers 120cm+ doing Adventure activities
- Guardians entering with kids must also buy a pass suited to their needs
- Sneakers and long pants required!!

My kids are in 6th and 4th grade and over 140cm tall, so we went all-day Adventure Pass to play the whole day! Outside food isn't allowed, and before entering you have to fill out a consent form via QR code and show it to staff to get in.

If you have bags, there are free lockers by the entrance to store them.

## Sky Trail at Jump: even level 1 made my legs shake

Wow... I don't think I've ever seen such a big indoor playground, haha. If you're on an Adventure Pass, Sky Trail and Clip 'n Climb are basically the main attractions!!

Even as an adult it looked scary, but I mustered courage and tried it with the kids, lol! You can choose which floor to use — 1st, 2nd, or 3rd — and even the 1st floor scared me...😱 Kids mostly seem to use the 2nd floor while adults go for the 3rd, haha. I hadn't even done much yet and my legs were already shaking... Looking at it from below versus climbing up are totally different things!! I'd recommend it to people who aren't afraid of heights or who love thrills.

Just looking at the 3rd-floor zipline was dizzying~~ Even my fearless eldest said he couldn't make it up to the 3rd floor, lol, and was satisfied with the 2nd floor alone.

## Clip 'n Climb: the kids' favorite at Jump

Clip 'n Climb was the kids' favorite by far!! Staff were stationed everywhere, carefully helping with safety gear and explaining things, haha. When you stand in front of the climb you want to try, a staff member clips your harness on — you're never allowed to do it alone, so you have to wait for them. Staff were placed throughout, but on weekends there are so many kids that it seemed like they could use a few more hands.

The slide isn't open continuously — staff announce when it opens. That one's way more thrilling than it looks, lol.

## Battle World laser tag: the most fun part for mom

We did Battle World laser tag three times, lol. This was my personal favorite!! It's a 5-minute survival shooting game split into Red and Blue teams, and running around shooting with the kids was so much fun and exciting. Just a few rounds of this and you're completely wiped out, lol.

There were also unlimited arcade machines, basketball, hockey and more — so much to do that there wasn't a single boring moment, lol.

## Second floor at Jump: Sky Glider and Super Challenge zone

We'd already played for 2 hours on the 1st floor alone — time to head up to the 2nd floor, right?? The 2nd floor has various activity spaces like Sky Glider, Play Interactive, and Super Challenge.

The kids, who apparently have infinite stamina, ran around tirelessly and had their fill of a dinosaur shooting arcade game they used to play a lot, lol.

## Jump food lounge: menu and how ordering works

After 3 hours of play, I was getting hungry. Even if you eat beforehand, if you plan to play all day you'll definitely end up at the food court^^ To reach the Food Lounge, scan your wristband QR to exit, pass through the Kids Ground, and head up to the 2nd floor!

True to a large indoor kids' café theme park, the food court scale was impressive too — as spacious as a cafeteria! There's also a café, so parents can rest quietly while waiting.

It's noticeably quieter up on the 2nd floor, a good spot to rest, haha. There are massage chairs and a Jump 4-cut photo booth too~!

Even though we'd eaten beforehand, after all that running around we got hungry again^^ There was a good variety — Star Gomtang, Namsan Donkkaseu, Mom's Touch, Hangang Ramen, bunsik (Korean snack food) and more~

> TIP: There's a water dispenser in the 2nd-floor Food Lounge, so I'd recommend bringing a tumbler or water bottle^^

It was still under construction, but the Battle Drift Kart and Sky Glider opening on 9/22 look so exciting!!

I didn't check it closely, but there's also a party room!! Seems like a great spot for birthdays or family gatherings too.

The gift shop was fun to browse too~ Lots of Jeju Island souvenirs, haha. We wanted to play until closing but ran out of steam... 5 hours was already plenty of play🤣 Come back again next time💕

## Is Jump in Nowon worth it? Our verdict

The facility overall was spacious and clean, with so many attractions and games that kids would love — never a dull moment. It's not just for kids to have fun; there's plenty for adults to enjoy together too, making it a great spot to visit with friends or family. Definitely worth checking out Jump, the huge indoor kids' café theme park in Nowon🤍
