But! Ever since I discovered this place last year, whenever I'm craving guk-bap, Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk is always where I go. If you're looking for a solid meal near Goyang Starfield or Samsong Station, I confidently recommend this spot. It's close to public transit around Samsong Station, and it's the perfect place to stop by before or after shopping. ## Delivery vs. dine-in: how different is the stone-pot haejangguk? Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk is just as generous when ordered for delivery, but the warmth of the stone pot is definitely different in person. This place is so famous that I've eaten there in person plenty of times, and when I'm really craving it, I've also had it delivered at home! Even delivered, it's just as hearty and delicious as eating in the restaurant, so it's a place I turn to often. But you know guk-bap only tastes right when it's bubbling hot in a stone pot, right!? I always order the haejangguk when I go. There are also set menus, which I haven't tried yet, so I'll give one a shot next time I visit. Rice can be refilled once per person for free, and broth refills are also available. The food comes out pretty fast. Can you see the insane portion size... It looks spicy but it's really not that spicy. I actually started eating beef blood (seonji) after trying it here 😚🥳😚. It's loaded with pork, beef blood, bean sprouts, glass noodles, dried napa greens, and green onion, and there isn't a hint of pork funk — it's really delicious. Given it's haejangguk, it's perfect for curing a hangover, but with all that generous meat and portioning, it also holds up great as a hearty dinner. If you haven't been yet, make sure to stop by this weekend for a warm bowl of guk-bap!!!
