Manseokjip's fire chicken cream pasta comes topped generously with thick slices of spam, and it had that fully-Korean-palate flavor that basically nobody could dislike. I was skeptical — isn't 'fire chicken cream' supposed to make you wince and hiss with every bite? But it turned out to be just spicy enough, and we cleared the whole plate in no time haha. I'm usually the type who needs pickles whenever I eat pasta, but the kick here wasn't overwhelming and the flavor kept pulling me back in, so I finished it without any pickles at all.
