Two diners came after work for the small dakbokkeumtang (24,000 won) at spice level 2 and a seafood pancake (14,500 won), then mixed rice into the leftover broth. I'd heard about this place as a dakbokkeumtang spot for ages! Went there for a hearty dinner, a solid Jeongwang-dong restaurant pick, haha. The dakbokkeumtang has 3 adjustable spice levels, and sizes range from 2 to 4 people, so order according to your group size~~ They also sell cockle bibimbap as a solo-friendly meal, so it's also a good Jeongwang-dong lunch spot even if you're dining alone. We picked spice level 2, about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, haha. The basic side dishes were baechu kimchi and mul kimchi (watery radish kimchi), and that mul kimchi was delicious~~ sweet and reeeally refreshing!
