Two people visited on a chilly evening and ordered dakdoritang, steamed egg, and fried rice with soju and draft beer: the stew broth, loaded with rice cake, quail eggs, and glass noodles, was the highlight, while the fried rice fell flat. I came to the Seomyeon branch, but it turns out this place is already famous in Yeonsan?! I dug around on blogs and decided to visit the Seomyeon location instead. There was quite a variety of dishes. I loved having so many options hahaha. It was fun to read them after ordering😚 We left our own note on the wall as well. We got salad, radish, and shrimp chips? Classic sides for any chicken place, hahaha. That cabbage salad was great to eat before the main food arrived. Can't have a chicken place without it, right? Rice cake, quail eggs and glass noodles Ta-da — we ordered the dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken stew). I went back and forth but ended up craving broth as the weather turned a bit chilly, and it was a great choice👍🏻👍🏻 It had long rice cakes, quail eggs, and glass noodles in it? The broth was nicely reduced too, so it was easy to scoop up and eat. Such a good drinking snack!!!! Bubbling away and looking delicious, right? You really have to keep it simmering while you eat!!! haha. Dipping the meat in the broth is the best part, you know? We ordered both Can't skip soju and beer. Dakdoritang was the perfect pairing for soju. Having quail eggs in there was such a bonus, haha. Honestly, a letdown The moment we'd been waiting for! We ordered the fried rice. I'd eaten chicken recently so I skipped it this time, but a lot of the other tables were ordering the chicken sets. It looked really good. I'll have to order chicken next time too, haha. Since they're open late into the early morning, it's a great spot to come when you're hungry💕 Oh, and they also do takeout and delivery.
