She's not usually someone who eats this much, so watching her enjoy the jjajangmyeon so much made me think, "Ah, this must be a real gem," even before I'd tasted it myself! Thanks to her, the whole family had a great, delicious meal on her birthday. Other reviews online also mention the sweetness of onion and cabbage, the deep umami of the black bean paste, and the good chew of the meat working together well. Above all, the noodles were generously coated in the jjajang sauce, so every bite delivered that salty-sweet jjajang flavor properly. Unlike typical tangsuyuk, it's made with a Chinese black vinegar sauce, giving it a sweet-and-sour taste with a bit more depth. For me, the broth was... honestly the real deal 🥹 The seafood was plentiful too, so it was fun picking out the toppings along with the noodles, and the spicy, refreshing broth soaked into the noodles nicely, giving it a totally different charm from jjajangmyeon. Personally, I loved ordering both the sweet, savory jjajangmyeon and the spicy, clean seafood jjamppong and going back and forth between the two 👍🏻 ## Is Bueokgan Chinese worth it for a family birthday meal in Haeundae? Visiting Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch for my daughter's birthday, this Haeundae Chinese restaurant delivered not just on food but also on atmosphere and space. Watching my 6-year-old nearly finish a large jjajangmyeon really confirmed for me that this place is the real deal 😀 The clean, upscale atmosphere made it a great spot for a special occasion, and it seems just as fitting for family meals, dates, or gatherings.
