I came to Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station, a sandwich spot at Seoul Station. Head down to basement level 3 of Grand Central and walk all the way inside. Figs have been so good lately~ came to try the new menu!

## Why I return to Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station every season

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station keeps changing its seasonal sandwiches around fruit that's in season, so you never get bored. I went to the Hannam-dong location first, and had such a good time eating sandwiches there that I've kept coming back ever since. Now that they've opened at Seoul Station, I come by every season. This time the fig sandwich came out, so I rushed over.

## Is there enough seating at Dance Dance Dance?

The inside of Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station has plenty of tables and chairs, so no need to worry. There's enough seating to eat in. It might get packed during weekday lunch hours though. It's also a comfortable sandwich spot near Seoul Station for solo dining.

Dance Dance Dance's coffee is also good, so it's worth enjoying alongside your sandwich. In particular, the sugar-free vanilla bean oat latte is sweet while still feeling like a healthier option. There are lots of options I like. If you sign up for Naver alerts you get a free drip bag, so make sure to sign up and grab one~! I tried the drip bag at home and it was a coffee with rich, deep bean flavor.

## What sandwiches does Dance Dance Dance serve?

Now for the most famous sandwiches. Dance Dance Dance is known for its baguette sandwiches, and lots of new kinds have come out too — hot ham and cheese, ham and egg sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, mushroom grilled sandwich. These are new sandwiches that taste best warmed and melted. The existing chicken breast sandwich is still the best-selling menu item.

### The two autumn fig baguettes

The autumn baguettes are the fig matcha baguette and the fig pistachio baguette. I went back and forth between the two, but since I'd never seen a fig-pistachio combination before, I ordered that one. Wish there was a half-and-half option... the fig matcha combo has me curious too, so I hope they add a split option.

### Baguette or ciabatta: which to pick?

For Dance Dance Dance sandwiches you can choose between baguette and ciabatta bread, and the baguette is way crispier and tastier. I tried ciabatta last time too, but baguette is better. If you prefer softer bread, go with ciabatta.

Besides sandwiches, there's a chocolate chip scone, a plain scone, and a pollock roe baguette. The scones had already sold out early.

There have been a lot of fig desserts around lately, but the fig pistachio baguette combo is... I asked for extra pistachio tofu cream and they seem to have spread on a generous amount. At ₩18,900 the price is a bit on the higher side.

There's one whole fresh fig inside, topped with pistachio cream and crushed pistachio, so you can feel the crunch as you chew.

The nutty pistachio flavor was rich and not the least bit greasy. This is a baguette specialty shop, so the fig sandwich pairs so well with the crispy baguette. The pistachio cream and fig combination really works. Being a tofu cream cheese, it feels heavier and the nuttiness comes through doubled somehow?!

I wondered where the sweetness was coming from, and it turns out there's a bit of sweet jam spread on the inside of the baguette. So it's a sandwich spot where you get both sweetness and nuttiness. Figs are right at their best now, so give this a try! If you love figs, this is a must-try autumn seasonal menu item. This one I bought again with my own money because it was so good — a sandwich spot near Seoul Station. Winter's coming up soon and I hear it'll be a strawberry baguette. Last year's chocolate strawberry baguette was delicious, so I'll be back in winter too :)
