Parking at Tongkeun Shabu turned out to be more generous than I expected. You can park right beside the building (next to Subway), and there's also an underground lot marked 'Hana Bank parking' if you go around back. There were also separate sofa seats, which made things much more comfortable with a kid in tow! Kids' prices are ₩14,000 for elementary school (8–13) and ₩11,000 for preschool (5–7). - Adult weekday lunch: ₩23,900 - Adult dinner/weekend: ₩26,900 - Elementary school: ₩14,000 (ages 8–13) - Preschool: ₩11,000 (ages 5–7) You could choose from four broths for the shabu-shabu: basic / chicken bone / sukiyaki / mala. All except the basic broth come with an extra charge — chicken bone broth is +₩2,000, and sukiyaki and mala are each +₩4,000. You can even do half-and-half haha. Since we were eating with Jjin, we went with the basic broth, no extra charge ☺️ ## What is on the salad bar? The meat corner at Tongkeun Shabu had two kinds — beef belly and pork neck — and it's all-you-can-eat, so you take as much as you like. There was a good variety of ingredients good for shabu-shabu — napa cabbage, bok choy, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms — plus carrots, onions, and mushrooms that go well with rice paper wraps! On one side there was also mushroom soup, along with several kinds of sauces to go with the shabu-shabu! And on one side, rice, egg, seaweed flakes, and sesame oil were set out for making porridge after finishing the shabu-shabu. ### Making your own naengmyeon (cold noodles) There was also a station to make your own naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles)! Along with the noodles there was cucumber, radish, seaweed flakes, seasoning sauce, and cold noodle broth, so you could put it together however you liked.
