Since this place is known among Cheolsan Japanese restaurants specifically for gyukatsu and ramen, most customers seem to order the gyukatsu + ramen combo. Crispy outside, juicy inside!! They give you plenty of fuel in your personal hibachi, but here's what impressed me most — at some gyukatsu places, the coals burn out fast, and that's fine, but when the fire weakens it gets a bit awkward to keep calling the staff over, so you end up rushing your meal. Genuinely delicious!!!!! My other half kept saying it was delicious the whole time. Totally tender and tasty :) I'm going to Osaka soon and will eat gyukatsu there, but honestly... I think the gyukatsu and ramen here in Korea taste better than in Japan! It's like they really know exactly what hits the spot for Korean palates. So I think I'll end up coming back here even after the trip. Cracked open a poached egg and ate it with the chashu slices, yum. There's really a ton of chashu in there haha.
