Anyway, that red seasoning is there. It's tasty!! Eating tonkatsu on its own for too long can get a bit greasy, but having soba in between kept my palate clean, which I liked. I'm not usually a huge soba fan, but the soba here... I finished it completely. The noodles were incredibly!! chewy and tasty. Tonkatsu can get a bit tiresome if the breading is too thick, but that day, eating it alternately with the soba, I never got that feeling and could enjoy it deliciously all the way through. I think this combo is the tastiest way to eat tonkatsu!!! ## Verdict on lunch at Katsu Shokudo Pangyo Main Branch I had the rotsu katsu set (soba) that day, and what I liked most was being able to eat tonkatsu and soba together in one meal!! Oh, and instead of soba you can also choose udon. Once it gets colder I plan to come back and try it with udon. When you're torn over lunch in Pangyo — 'should I eat tonkatsu today, or soba?' — eating both is one option!!! This felt like a place I'd think of when I want a clean, satisfying meal.
