This time I didn't have a particular fish in mind, but I visited planning to order whatever looked good between the assorted sashimi platter and jeoneo hoe (gizzard shad sashimi). Hwanggeum Hoe Pocha Wolsan Branch in Gwangju had its outdoor fish tanks cleanly maintained, and it was pretty crowded. Since the tables are numerous and spacious, a lot of people come for gatherings or family meals. Actually, even bone-free, small bones kept catching in my mouth — I wish there was a menu that mixed jeoneo with regular sashimi..! There's a wide variety of other menu items, so I recorded them on video — and there's now a ramyeon menu that wasn't here before! Since it's shrimp season, there was even shrimp ramyeon, which apparently you could also get through a review event.
