It's genuinely good value for a buffet haha. ## A 300-pyeong hall and a private room for up to 60 The first thing I noticed walking into Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch was just how spacious it is, as you'd expect from a buffet 🤤 The aisles were roomy enough that no one bumped into each other — so comfortable! Beyond nigiri, there were rolls, gunkan, and sashimi too, so I could try a bit of everything in one go 👍🏻 The NEW flounder sushi and salmon sushi now come with bigger fish slices, raising the fish-to-rice ratio, and the shrimp sushi has been upgraded to botan shrimp. The NEW Norwegian raw salmon sashimi, newly introduced, is available on weekday dinners and weekends/holidays. The mala flavor wasn't overpowering, and the seasoning itself was delicious, soaking nicely into the shrimp and lotus root — so good ㅠㅠ ## Soup corner: Uljin snow crab soup Having a soup on the side always settles my stomach, so I wandered over, and lo and behold there was Uljin snow crab soup! There were all kinds of crispy fried items, great for grabbing between bites of sushi or sashimi 🍤💕 Next to it was pizza, and since I'd been craving gorgonzola for days...🍯 I gave this one a proper honey drizzle and finished it off. So gooey and good. ## Made-to-order noodle corner: Uljin snow crab cream pasta Jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, udon, and cold buckwheat noodles, all made to order! Plus pasta! There are a lot of noodle options, right?? My top pick was the pasta! 🍝 Both the oil and cream pastas were seriously satisfying haha. I tried a little of everything, of course. The smoked duck was genuinely tender 🍗, and the lamb chops had seasoning that soaked in perfectly — so good ㅠㅠ The grilled mushrooms were also delicious,,,, personally, this corner was my second-favorite after the sushi! ## Salad corner The salad corner had vegetables that looked so fresh I ended up stopping to check it out 🥗 Grabbed some to keep my blood sugar in check~! And the standout... marble ice cream, you know that nostalgic marble ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!(excited) NEW It used to be weekday dinner or weekend only, but it's now been upgraded so you can enjoy the marble ice cream at lunch too! Kids are going to love this 👦🏻🧒🏻 (adults love it too) + you have to top your waffle with whipped cream, non-negotiable. ## Worth it for gatherings that need plenty of menu choice Usually at a buffet you eat all sorts of things but can't really remember much by the time you get home 🥑 but at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch 🍣🍗🦐 from the sushi to the smoked duck, lamb chops, and mala shrimp, I kept thinking wistfully about wanting to eat it all again ~_~ You can pick whatever suits your taste, and the space is spacious enough that it's a solid spot for a Nowon family gathering 🧑🧑🧒🧒🎉 or for anyone looking for a Nowon work dinner spot!
