I stopped by Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch while looking for a café near Dongchon Resort. Dongchon Resort is a great place for a walk or just to get some fresh air, so it's somewhere I end up visiting occasionally whenever I'm in Daegu. Looking for somewhere nearby to sit down with a coffee, I naturally started searching for a café. As you may know, I'm now living a completely different life raising a 10-month-old baby compared to a year ago. Since she can't walk yet, I end up looking for floor-seating cafés a lot. This place is also famous for its hand-drip coffee, so if you like drip coffee, that's worth ordering too. Long black here is just their regular Americano! Even though it's in a tourist spot, the drink prices weren't expensive at all. Matcha red bean waffle, ₩13,300. I've only ever had the waffle that comes with Häagen-Dazs ice cream as a side before, so this was my first time ordering the matcha red bean version! Ordering a waffle means it takes a bit of time to bake, so we decided to wait patiently! This place is famous for waffles that are worth the wait~! They also had a good variety of other desserts. Calm-toned interior! If it had just been the two of us, we probably would have sat here and taken our time over coffee. But! The view opened up wonderfully, with all of Dongchon Resort in sight. Harang was in a great mood~~~★ There were already other moms with babies under a year old sitting on the floor seats! Luckily, the floor seating was split into two separate sections, so we set up in a different area! This was actually my first time seeing a café with the floor seating divided into two spots like this. Do I even need to say how the drinks and dessert were~~~ True to the Hands Coffee name and reputation, still delicious. With independent cafés, if you're unlucky with the beans it can turn out bad, but the regular Americano here was one everyone enjoyed without any complaints. Nothing beats this for dessert, apparently~!
