So of course, we looked up an outdoor bar near Suwon Station. That is how we found Paldal Jutaek (팔달주택)! It sits in a relatively quiet alley compared with the bustling Rodeo Street. There really are not outdoor bars around Suwon Station. Even when there are, it is usually just a second-floor terrace or something?? But Paldal Jutaek’s outdoor area feels like the real thing, set in an alley between houses. A cool breeze drifted through and soft music played. There were lots of women customers and couples. ## The bar food we ordered at Paldal Jutaek One signature item at Paldal Jutaek, the Suwon Station outdoor bar, is Bulnae Hanpan: a platter that lets you eat fire-grilled webfoot octopus, pork intestines, boneless chicken feet, and pork bulgogi all at once. There are also lots of tasty choices, including sukiyaki, fried pork ribs, beef tripe hot pot, and soupy boneless tteokbokki. We came for a second round and had such a lovely time with my coworkers!! ## Why it was more than enough as a Suwon Station outdoor bar The phrase “Suwon Station outdoor bar” alone is enough reason to come here. There are hardly any outdoor bars at Suwon Station, and even if there are, I could not find one with an atmosphere as nice as Paldal Jutaek. Then there are all the tasty, varied bar dishes too! With roomy indoor tables, it can accommodate groups, while the soft lighting also makes it a great bar for couples.
