It already looked big from outside, but stepping in, it was even more spacious and comfortable. Everything was done in a clean white tone, giving the whole place a bright, tidy feel.

## What side dishes come with the meal?

Since I'd booked through Naver in advance, the menu I'd ordered ahead of time was already set up and ready right when I arrived.

They prepared bean sprouts, gopchang gim (crispy laver seaweed), perilla leaves, cabbage salad, julienned radish, steamed egg, cold cucumber soup, white sauce, and flying fish roe. It wasn't just jjukkumi — I liked that there were so many side ingredients to wrap it up with.

## How does the griddle jjukkumi with full add-ins taste?

The griddle was piled high with jjukkumi, pork belly, and minari (water dropwort). There was plenty of jjukkumi for two people, no shortage at all.

A staff member came over, turned on the burner, and kept an eye on the cooking the whole time, so I could just relax and eat.

I also added ramen noodles, and the staff put them in and cooked them for me, which made things easy. The noodles come pre-cooked, so they just simmered them briefly and had them ready to eat right away.

Wrapping the jjukkumi and pork belly with gopchang gim and bean sprouts in a perilla leaf was delicious. Topping it with white sauce and flying fish roe gave it a whole different flavor to enjoy.

### Finishing with the 3,500-won snow cheese fried rice

And of course, you can't skip the fried rice at the end! Once I'd eaten about 80% of the main dish, I ordered the snow cheese fried rice. When you ask for it, the staff come over and cook it right there until it's ready to eat.

Once the fried rice was all stir-fried, they topped it with the snow cheese, and you just wait for it to melt before digging in. They told me it's delicious wrapped in grilled seaweed straight off the griddle, so I tried it that way — and sure enough, it was great.

## What stood out most about Jeongipum Jjukkumi Gwangmyeong?

Visiting in person, I loved being able to eat jjukkumi and pork belly together, plus noodles and fried rice on top of that. Best of all, the staff kept checking in the whole time — cooking, adding noodles, making the fried rice — so there was nothing to worry about.

With 2 hours of free parking and IKEA, Costco, and outlet malls all nearby, this seems like a great stop for a meal after shopping. There's also a pork cutlet option for kids, so it would work well for a meal with both adults and children.
