The place I visited was Mikado Sushi Pyeongtaek Station Branch (미카도스시 평택역점). With conveyor-belt sushi, you can pick whatever you feel like at the moment, so it is great for trying a bit of this and that instead of settling on just one menu item. It is nice to decide what you want before you go, but once you are there, a piece passing right in front of you can suddenly make you want it too, lol. It was not salty, and the seasoning was just right. There were so many kinds that we would look over the sushi on the rail, grab one when something appealing passed by, then pick up another whenever we thought of a different item while eating, haha. The muk-eunji sushi, made with aged kimchi, was really delicious too. They also had sauces and things like rakgyo (pickled scallions) to eat with the sushi. They had written the preparation dates like that. We ate about 32 plates in total..? That works out to 16 plates each, but we had no idea we had eaten that much while we were eating. There were desserts on the rail too, so you could reset with a cake-like dessert now and then. Also, Mikado Sushi uses the same price for every plate, so it was nice that picking lots of different kinds did not make the bill complicated. I think we kept eating without getting tired of it because we could have a small amount of so many different kinds. Picking all these different things is the fun of conveyor-belt sushi!! That day, we ate such a huge variety of sushi and left full to the very end. The restaurant was clean overall, it was easy to pick sushi straight from the rail, and we could separately order anything we wanted by QR code, so it was comfortable and nice all around.
