I’m not very good with seonji (congealed ox blood) or offal, so I always order my haejangguk without the seonji, but the beef, bean sprouts, ugeoji (dried cabbage greens), glass noodles, and rich, spicy broth are totally, completely my style. ![Signature dishes at Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch](https://img.superchart.com/images/goyang-samsong-gukbap-family-meal/goyang-samsong-gukbap-family-meal-01-1m3w2-1200.webp) This time I went with my husband and our child, and we really tucked in: one haejangguk + dombe pork set, one offal soup + dombe pork set, plus an extra bowl of rice. ## Location and parking across from Goyang Starfield It is at Units 1-008 and 1-009, e-Pyeonhansesang City Samsong, 33 Dongsong-ro, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is open 10:00–22:00 Monday through Friday and 09:00–22:00 on Saturday and Sunday, with last orders at 21:30. They have high chairs as well. I went with my six-year-old son, and the owner was so thoughtful. I think it would be delicious with boiled pork at home. ## Ordering the dombe pork sets We ordered the haejangguk + dombe pork (80 g) set for ₩20,000 and the offal soup + dombe pork (80 g) set for ₩20,000! My husband says that one day we will both leave the car behind and finally try it... haha. Kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) and garlic sauce are set out as basics, so you can serve yourself. I love the kkakdugi here. Even without it, the bowl never feels lacking. There was seriously so much beef, plus bean sprouts, ugeoji, and glass noodles! After we served out some broth for our child, my husband added the dadegi separately. This is the amount that comes with one set, and there was another plate too, haha. I mixed a little rice into the soup for our child and gave it to him with the dombe pork, and he ate so well. This time, instead of Hallasan soju, we had makgeolli (Korean rice wine) too. My husband is always good at making a toast. The spicy haejangguk went wonderfully with the makgeolli, and together with the dombe pork, it was the perfect light-drinking combination, haha. ## A good setup for families with different tastes Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch was great because families with different tastes, like ours, can each enjoy a good meal. I had haejangguk without seonji, my husband had offal soup made spicy with dadegi after serving out broth for our child first, and our child happily had tender dombe pork and rice mixed into non-spicy offal-soup broth. Ordering the set menu with dombe pork meant we had meat ready for our child, while we got to enjoy it with our haejangguk too, so this setup at Jeju Eunhui-ne Haejangguk Goyang Samsong Branch was just right.
