Insane value, but I figured we couldn't finish it all, so I ordered à la carte instead. As someone who's eaten the entire menu at Yeonsu Gopchang, the salt-grilled makchang + spicy gopchang stir-fry half-and-half is the winner. The savory salt-grilled makchang paired with the seriously punchy spicy gopchang stir-fry is killer... eat them together and you could eat forever. If you like takoyaki, the teriyaki makchang is also good. Just a good, savory fish cake broth, nice and plump. I 100% recommend the cheese bomb steamed egg. Mind-blowing. Piled with a ton of cheese, and not the cheap stuff either. You get the full flavor of the cheese. There's a chive salad on top — good eaten raw or grilled. Personally I love the raw chive salad. It's properly spicy, so it pairs reeeeeally well with mayonnaise. Glass noodles are already mixed in, no need to add extra, so you get glass noodles soaked in the sauce too!! The spicy gopchang stir-fry is on the salty side, so it's better eaten wrapped in perilla leaf with mayo rather than plain. Final verdict Generous portions, and truly the best drinking food... it's a shame every time that I can't drink here. Also the fried rice here is supposed to be excellent — I held off since I'm dieting.
