Add the rolled dumplings next, and after finishing everything, you can wrap up with kalguksu and rice porridge or fried rice—Onjeongban Shabu Kalguksu is such a great-value Byeollae spot 🤍 We let the vegetables cook a bit, then added all the meat and simmered it together. There was such a varied, abundant mix of mung bean sprouts, napa cabbage, bok choy, oyster mushrooms, water parsley, enoki mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, kabocha squash, and more that we were full just from the vegetables 👍👍 After filling up on vegetables, we boiled the rolled dumplings too, for protein and carbs together. The dumpling wrappers were thin and the filling was packed in, so we took them out and ate them quickly. Onjeongban Shabu Kalguksu’s signature rolled dumplings were soft and moist, and the kids loved them too 🫶 If you love dumplings, you can add an extra order on its own as well 📍 After finishing all the vegetables and dumplings, we added both the included kalguksu noodles and the extra noodles. There was quite a lot, so I recommend trying the included amount first before adding more ❗️ The kalguksu noodles were curly like ramen and cooked quickly, and because they were not coated in flour, the broth did not get thick, which made them even tastier. For our K-dessert finish, we made rice porridge. If there is lots of broth, it becomes porridge; if there is less, it becomes fried rice, so you can choose what to make. We love egg-and-vegetable rice porridge, so we cooked it up properly haha 😌 We filled up on the rice porridge too and cleaned every last bit from our bowls—so delicious. ## Finishing with slushies and snacks For dessert, they offer old-fashioned Korean snacks, slushies, and freshly ground coffee as a service.
