We had such a delicious meal when we came before that we returned for another family meal this time. We went on a Sunday, and of course, it was packed. One of Manpo Galbi's biggest draws is that naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) comes with each serving of galbi! We had yukhoe (seasoned raw beef), salad, yukjeon (pan-fried battered beef), seasoned chili peppers, sweet-and-sour radish, and other dishes that paired nicely with meat. Our youngest seemed to eat almost a whole serving alone. After we finished the meat, it was time for the cold noodles we had been waiting for. Since we ordered five servings of galbi, we chose mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles in chilled broth) and bibim-naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) according to our tastes. For me, refreshing mul-naengmyeon is still the best match for galbi. The freshly popped ppeongtwigi was especially popular with the kids! Even after filling up on galbi, somehow there was still room for ppeongtwigi. For the adults, sweet dabang-style coffee or an Americano made a nice finish to the meal. ## Our Family Meal Verdict with Three Children For a family meal with three children, we look at more than just the food: parking, the menu setup, and whether the kids eat well all matter. From the large parking lot to charcoal-grilled galbi, varied side dishes, naengmyeon with the ribs, and after-meal desserts, Manpo Galbi was a comfortable place for a family to enjoy a meal together. The kids especially loved the galbi, so I think it will come to mind again for our next family meal out.
