Back then I'd forgotten what gyukatsu even was and figured it was just some fancy tonkatsu, so I ordered omurice instead. But when the food came out it looked SO good ㅠㅠ (my kind friends shared some with me). That's when I first thought gyukatsu was amazing — and turns out Suwon has a Gyuen-dang too, in Gwanggyo, aka Suwon's Seocho-gu^^;. I was already out in Gwanggyo so I stopped by. ## Fireside seats on a cool autumn night So cozy,, it was right at that point where the sweltering summer was turning into a cool autumn evening, and sitting quietly by the fire like this was genuinely soothing on its own. 🫠,, lighting the fire kind of gave off a little Jujutsu Kaisen vibe? -_-,, ## Sirloin or tenderloin gyukatsu: which plate is which? I ordered the two best-menu items without really knowing which was which. Probably sirloin and tenderloin?? The candle inside burns out faster than expected, so I think we changed it once or twice. Just in case the meat ends up not cooked enough, be sure to check partway through. They had some J-pop playing. But honestly there were SO many cars and SO many people that even if I'd planned ahead, I probably couldn't have seen it properly without clearing my whole day. Sigh~ Apparently Gwanggyo also had the Suwon Jazz Festival going on with Geeny performing, but I missed that too, ugh ㅠ.
