I basically got paid to lie down.

Lately I've had a mountain of content and planning work piling up nonstop, so my whole body has been getting stiff as a matter of course. ## When the space is pretty, the healing starts before the care even begins

Of course, the essence of a massage shop really is the therapists' skill and technique above all else. But stepping into a space this pretty and sensory, where your eyes are just as pleased, makes you feel brighter and healed before the care even starts. I imagine maintaining this kind of upscale interior costs money and that gets reflected in the service price, but still, from a customer's perspective, given the choice, getting care in a place this beautiful just brings noticeably higher satisfaction.

It's basically a place you visit for rest, so I appreciated how quiet it stayed. Massage chemistry matters most, of course, but sometimes the conversation ends up being fun too. When that happens, it's a real bonus. In my case, the ajummas (older ladies) tend to find me cute (?) haha.

A few days ago, riding the subway, I saw some grandmothers in their 70s wearing 'Young Hero Era' t-shirts, out and about having a blast haha. Fans or staff? Actually, no, they can't be staff — there's no way there are 70-something-year-old staff... I don't really know much about Lim Young-woong, but they seemed happy anyway!
