When you go shopping at Songhyeona, you end up walking more than you expect while looking around at everything. After wandering around for a while, what naturally comes to mind is an iced cup of coffee. ☕️ We were enjoying a shopping day at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch too, and decided to take a little break. There are several cafés inside Songhyeona, but we chose Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, which we had also visited at its Yeokgok branch before. Wunder Coffee Bar is somewhere we have liked for quite a while. In particular, Wunder Gato was always the menu item we enjoyed whenever we visited. This time, though, we decided to try something a little different instead of our usual order. We ordered Wunder Coffee Einspänner, tangerine-grapefruit juice, and cream chocolate! From adults who love coffee to a child who loves chocolate drinks, we each chose something to suit our taste. So, which menu item was the tastiest?

The food court itself is so spacious that first-time visitors may need to have a quick look around for it. Wunder Coffee Bar is on one side near the grocery store, so it is not difficult to find once you look around. We naturally stopped by while shopping because we wanted coffee. When you shop at Songhyeona, time flies faster than you think as you browse, and it was in a great spot to pop into for a drink then.

## A café that is great for takeaway

Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo Branch is not the kind of regular café with lots of spacious seating. It is mainly a takeaway shop, so it may feel a little different if you come expecting a café where you can sit inside for a long, leisurely time. But if, like us, you want to take away a coffee while shopping, it was actually convenient.

We ordered and picked up our drinks, then found seats in the food court and enjoyed them comfortably. Since there are places to sit in the food court, it was not particularly inconvenient unless you absolutely needed to sit inside the café. Especially when you are walking around the outlet with a child, you tend to take short breaks along your shopping route rather than sitting in one place for a long time. In that sense, it felt like a nice place to take coffee or drinks to the food court and enjoy them mid-shop.

Along with ordinary Americanos and lattes, there were Einspänner, affogato, and drinks using matcha and cream, making it easy to choose according to your preference. Wunder Coffee and Wunder Gato, the café's representative menu items, especially caught our eye. Since we had often had Wunder Gato before, we decided to try something else this time.

## How was Wunder Coffee, Wunder Coffee Bar's signature drink?

First up is Wunder Coffee. Wunder Coffee is an Einspänner, one of Wunder Coffee Bar's signature drinks. Soft cream sits on top of the rich coffee, so you first taste the smoothness of the cream; when you mix it with the intense coffee underneath, the flavor comes through even more deeply. Above all, I liked that the coffee itself tasted clean and strong.

It is something I feel every time we visit Wunder Coffee Bar, but personally, this is a place that seems to care about the flavor of the coffee itself. This visit was satisfying too, with the coffee's character coming through well alongside the explanation that they use premium beans. If you enjoy the combination of an Einspänner's sweet, soft cream and rich coffee, it would be worth trying at least once.

## Rich fresh-fruit flavor: tangerine-grapefruit juice

Next was the tangerine-grapefruit juice. Ordering only coffee felt a little incomplete, so we picked a refreshing drink too. This juice had a rich, juicy quality that made it feel as though fresh fruit had been blended directly into it. With each sip, the fruit flavor came through quite strongly, and there was even a texture that seemed to have bits of juice in it here and there, making it feel different from an ordinary fruit drink.

The sweetness of tangerine came together with grapefruit's refreshing, slightly bitter character, and it felt like it freshened up a palate tired from shopping. I think it is a good choice for people who do not like coffee, or for those visiting with children and looking for another drink.

## The most satisfying one: cream chocolate 🍫

And the menu item that impressed us most on this visit was the cream chocolate. Our child really loves chocolate lattes, so we ordered it. After one sip, our child immediately said, “The chocolate latte here is the best!” 😂 That made me curious, so I tried it too, and I enjoyed it a lot as well. It was not simply a sweet chocolate drink: the rich, smooth chocolate flavor and the cream on top made it feel much softer and more refined.

I liked how smoothly the chocolate and cream came together in the mouth. It is a menu item I would especially recommend if you visit with a child who likes chocolate drinks. By our child's standards, it was unquestionably the number one order of the day. 😊 If your child usually likes chocolate lattes, I think they will be quite happy with it.

## They also sell coffee beans directly

Looking around the counter, we also found blend beans and decaf beans for sale. It seemed they sell the beans used at Wunder Coffee Bar so you can enjoy them at home too. The beans we saw during our visit were Noche Blend at ₩15,000 and Marron Blend Decaf at ₩19,000. Beyond having coffee at the café, it was nice that you could buy beans you liked and enjoy them at home. If you are a coffee lover, it would be worth looking at the beans as well as the drinks.

## When you need a coffee boost while shopping at Songhyeona

Overall, Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo Branch was a good place to stop for tasty coffee and drinks to take away during a shopping trip. It is not a café for spending a long time inside, but we could find a seat in the food court and drink comfortably, so it was not a major inconvenience for us. More than anything, we chose Wunder Coffee, tangerine-grapefruit juice, and cream chocolate instead of the Wunder Gato we usually get, and it was fun because each drink had such a distinct character. The cream chocolate was the one that stayed with me most! Our chocolate-latte-loving child called it number one, and after trying it myself, I could see why. 😊

And, as you would expect from Wunder Coffee Bar, the coffee was satisfying too. If you need coffee while taking a short break from shopping at Songhyeona, or you are looking for a slightly special signature drink, I think Wunder Coffee Bar is worth a visit. Next time, we are planning to try another menu item. Still, we may well end up ordering the familiar Wunder Gato again. 😂 I recommend Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo Branch to anyone wanting to finish a Songhyeona shopping trip with a delicious cup of coffee! ☕️
