There were plenty of tables with comfortable spacing between seats, making it a good spot for family meals too. That day we ordered tteokguk seolleongtang + seolleongtang (with extra somyeon noodles) + 3 mandu (dumplings). One of us went with the basic seolleongtang, and I picked tteokguk seolleongtang because I wanted the rice cakes in mine haha. And I added extra somyeon to the seolleongtang! The milky-white broth was loaded with rice cakes and topped with egg and gim (seaweed) flakes, so it looked much more filling than a regular seolleongtang. Since I love tteokguk (rice cake soup), this was more my style than plain seolleongtang haha. Then I dropped the mandu we'd ordered into the tteokguk seolleongtang! Once the dumpling skin softened and soaked up the broth, it was delicious eaten this way too. The filling was packed, so even one dumpling was pretty filling. Rice cake + mandu + seolleongtang broth all together suddenly made a complete tteokmanduguk haha. My boyfriend added extra somyeon to his basic seolleongtang. It already comes with somyeon, but ordering extra got him a genuinely huge separate portion haha. If you love noodles, adding somyeon is a must! Dunking the noodles into the broth let the milky broth soak in between the strands, making it great for slurping. The seolleongtang broth is rich and savory without being heavy, so the broth flavor doesn't get lost even with that much noodle added. It's a rabbit feeding experience that kids would probably love. I had a satisfying, hot meal of seolleongtang! I preferred the tteokguk seolleongtang over the basic version, and adding mandu made it even heartier and tastier haha.
