Lash studio near Dongtan's Gaenari Park for damaged lashes: Onyu Lash

I'm back with a revisit review of Onyu Lash (온유래쉬), my go-to Dongtan lash perm spot, which I visited a few days ago :D I went about two months ago too and loved it, so I booked through Naver again and headed back.

Is parking easy at Onyu Lash?

There's lots of parking behind the building, so you don't have to worry about it if you drive. I get around by car, so parking is really one of the big factors for me. Never having parking stress is probably why I keep coming back. Parking in Dongtan is seriously brutal, right? But at Onyu Lash it's super convenient~

How to find Onyu Lash: a shop-in-shop inside Green Nail

Onyu Lash is a shop-in-shop inside Green Nail (그린네일). At first there's no Onyu Lash sign, so you might think, "Huh, did I come to the wrong place?" But if you see Green Nail, you're in the right spot.

Look closely and you'll spot the Onyu Lash standing sign, so you can confirm you've found it. When I visited, they were running a ₩30,000 event! If you're curious about a lash perm or lash extensions in Dongtan, don't miss this chance.

What are the inside and treatment room like?

Since it's a shop-in-shop, the treatment room isn't big, but the owner, who works alone, looks after you herself from start to finish. It's tucked toward the back, so you never run into other customers coming and going, which is nice and not awkward. The bed was clean, and with the weather getting chilly, the thick blanket was warm and lovely.

I came to Onyu Lash without makeup, so my eyes looked blank and tired. A lash perm alone changes your whole impression, which is why they say there are people who've never tried a lash perm, but nobody who's tried it just once.

From the side, a bit of the tight upper curl was still there, but overall my lashes had been pulled out, broken off, and the new growth was pointing downward and poking my eyes a lot. Wow, I look so sleepy. zZ

The treatment took about 1 hour, and you could feel how meticulous the owner is. Even though it was a revisit, she kindly and thoroughly asked whether I'd had any discomfort after the last treatment, whether I wanted a change in shape, and so on.

I love a tight curl, so I asked again, "Lift them up tight, please!" She told me a better rod than the one from my last perm had come in, so we went with that and I lay down on the bed. The pillow was so comfy that I felt sucked into the bed the moment I lay down... and I fell asleep, haha. Meanwhile the owner was giving my eyes CPR~~!!

What are the results of the lash perm at Onyu Lash?

Here's the result of the tight lash perm with the new rod at Onyu Lash. Only my lashes were lifted, but my eyes look defined like I'm wearing makeup, and there's a bit of life (?) in them, don't you think? haha

Compare before and after: only the lashes were lifted, yet it looks like I did my makeup, right? This is why they say there are people who've never done a lash perm, but nobody who's done it just once. I like a tight curl so I asked for that again, and she really lifted them tight, so I loved the front-facing shot.

Does she take care of damaged lashes and tangled tips?

Even from the side, the lashes are lifted so neatly! Because I get lash perms often, my lashes have gotten much more damaged than before, but the owner at Onyu Lash paid close attention to the damage and didn't skimp on the serum.

I was touched again and again by the careful, tidy finish. She's fast and delicate, and lifted every single lash all at once without missing one. Tangled tips are always a worry for me, and this time she took that into account and lifted them well!
