We went at an off-peak Sunday time around 2pm and got seated right away with no wait. The seats had plenty of room and the tables were spaced generously, so we sat comfortably. It seemed like a good spot for family gatherings too—no pressure taking older parents there! ## What side dishes are at the self-serve bar? The basic side dishes at O Hyeongje Hwangje Nurungjitang came out in brassware, each one neatly arranged. Seafood nurungjitang was ₩18,000 and maesaengi abalone nurungjitang was ₩22,000, for ₩40,000 total. The visuals were seriously impressive?! Next time I'd love to order tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) alongside. ## How the maesaengi abalone nurungjitang tastes With the maesaengi abalone nurungjitang, the staff poured the scorched rice into a piping-hot stone pot right in front of us, which totally built the anticipation! With the maesaengi in it, the broth had a deep green color. The ₩18,000 seafood nurungjitang had big chunks of scallop and squid, which made for good chewy bites.
