## A spontaneous pick near Sinjung-dong Station

On a date in Bucheon with my boyfriend, once evening rolled around we both suddenly craved meat, haha.

We hadn't planned on any particular Korean BBQ spot near Sinjung-dong Station, but that day the thought of pork belly just wouldn't leave my head.

We were chatting away about what to eat when a place that looked pretty spacious even from a distance caught our eye.

As if drawn in, we ended up walking straight into Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch. We both said 'let's go here!' at the same time and walked in without a second thought.

## A spacious, airy interior

Once inside, the space felt pretty generous for a place we'd just stumbled upon while looking for a Korean BBQ spot near Sinjung-dong Station.

One side had a full window wall, which gave the whole place an open, airy feel.

We saw everyone from couples like us to bigger groups, so the space seemed to work well whether you're grabbing Bucheon Korean BBQ for a date or a gathering.

Looking over the menu, we confidently picked two servings of pork belly and one of pork neck.

Even before the meat arrived, kimchi, minari, and bean sprouts came out generously as basics. Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch was generous from the start, so I kept reaching for more.

I especially love scallion strips, so before I knew it I was just eating those. There were also six kinds of sauce, so it was fun figuring out which combinations to try.

### Staff grilled it for us from start to finish

Once the meat arrived, a staff member grilled it for us from beginning to end. That was actually the part I found most comfortable about this Korean BBQ spot near Sinjung-dong Station.

When you go out for Bucheon Korean BBQ, you sometimes get so caught up talking that you miss the moment to flip the meat, right? Here, my boyfriend and I could just chat comfortably while waiting for it to cook, so the conversation never got interrupted.

We ordered a beer to go with it, and they brought out milk thistle alongside it, which made us both smile a little.

Once the meat finally started to cook, it looked so good I thought, glad we walked into this Korean BBQ spot near Sinjung-dong Station.

We went with Boseong black pork, and both the belly and neck were thick with a soft, tender texture.

Mushrooms and shishito-style peppers were grilled alongside, so there was always something to pair with each bite of meat. Trying out different combinations at Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch was surprisingly fun.

What especially caught my eye were the thinly sliced potatoes. At first my boyfriend and I both wondered, how are we supposed to eat this?

### The sauce combo that suited my taste

I tried the different sauces one by one, and the combination that hit the spot for me at this Korean BBQ spot near Sinjung-dong Station was mushroom wasabi with salt. Paired with a thick, well-cooked bite of meat, it was clean without being greasy.

Alternating between scallion strips and minari too, the three meat orders disappeared so fast it was almost a shame.

## Finishing it off properly with fried rice

Even though we were getting full, skipping the fried rice felt like too much of a waste. In the end we ordered it to finish, and the two of us cleaned our plates without putting our spoons down.

Grilling the meat comfortably, trying the unusual potato-wrap combo, and finishing with fried rice made this a pretty memorable date for a dinner we stumbled into by chance with my boyfriend.
