First up, the ham jalapeño! It was marked as spice level 2, and the jalapeño had a sharp kick that balanced the flavor really well. The ham had a pretty plain, clean taste, so it was a really refreshing combo. I thought the tuna jalapeño might taste similar, but tuna is definitely eaten for that mayo-mixed flavor, so it was different. Savory, soft tuna mayo with the jalapeño cutting through any heaviness. I also swapped the bread to ciabatta, and personally I liked that better because ciabatta is softer — a baguette isn't really a bread you eat for softness, right? Hahaha. The soft ciabatta went really well with the tuna.
