## In short

Madam Hao is a Vietnamese restaurant near Ajou University Hospital in Suwon, Gyeonggi, on a rattan-lit side street off World Cup-ro 193beon-gil. The couple ordered bun cha (13,000 won) and beef fried rice with sigeumchi-like dried radish greens (12,000 won), enjoying charcoal-grilled meat and a rice dish packed with siraegi (dried radish greens). The tangy-sweet bun cha sauce was the highlight, making for a satisfying lunch for both of them.

While deciding where to eat near Ajou University Hospital, I was drawn to Madam Hao, a clean, brand-new Vietnamese restaurant with a striking exotic mood. There's parking space beside the store — it's a bit tight, so if it's full, the public parking lot nearby is convenient.

![Spacious wood-toned dining hall inside Madam Hao](https://img.superchart.com/images/madam-hao-suwon-beef-fried-rice-bun-cha/madam-hao-suwon-beef-fried-rice-bun-cha-02-19m2i-900.webp)

The warm, cozy wood-toned atmosphere really stood out :) The space is spacious and comfortable, perfect for group gatherings or company dinners.

Whether it's a date near Ajou, a meal with friends, or a solo lunch, the vibe here works for all of it. The main hall is big and open, with another hall tucked inside it — the warm, cozy Vietnamese rattan lighting made the space really pretty.

## Menu and prices

They serve a range of Vietnamese dishes that recreate the real local flavor — pho, bun cha (grilled pork with noodles), fried rice, and more.

Pho or fried rice? After debating, I picked the beef fried rice. The plating was gorgeous and appetizing :) The rice, tinted yellow as if with turmeric and fluffy, already felt unique and healthy…
